what is fico score?
FICO® Scores are the credit scores most lenders use to determine your credit risk. You have FICO® Scores from each of the three credit bureaus—Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. Each score is based on information the credit bureau keeps on file about you. by answering the questions below, you will find out the factors which your FICO Score is calculated based on:
1. How many credit cards do you have?
2. How long ago did you get your first loan? (i.e., auto loan, mortgage or student loan, etc.)
3. How many loans or credit cards have you applied for in the last year?
4. When was the last time you opened a new loan or credit card?
5. How many of your loans and/or credit cards currently have a balance?
6. Besides any mortgages, what is the total balance on all your loans and credit cards combined?
7. When did you last miss a loan or credit card payment?
8. How many of your loans and/or credit cards are currently past due?
9. What percent of your total credit card limits do your credit card balances represent?
10. In the last 10 years, have you ever experienced bankruptcy, tax lien, foreclosure, repossession or an account in collections?
knowing your FICO Score will save you money
Whether you’re buying a home, a car or applying for a credit card or getting a quote for Insurance, lenders want to know the risk they’re taking by lending you money. FICO® Scores are the credit scores used by 90% of top lenders to determine your credit risk. Your FICO® Scores (you have FICO® Scores for each of the 3 major bureaus) can affect how much money a lender will lend you and at what terms (interest rate). Higher FICO® Scores can often help you qualify for better rates from lenders – which can save you money!
know your rights:
Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law Section 405 of the CROA Credit Reporting Organization Act. You have a right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. However, neither you nor any ”credit repair” company or credit repair organization has the right to have accurate, current, and verifiable information removed from your credit report. The credit bureau must remove accurate, negative information from your report only if it is over 7 years old. Bankruptcy information can be reported for 10 years.
You have a right to obtain a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau. You may be charged a reasonable fee. There is no fee, however, if you have been turned down for credit, employment, insurance, or a rental dwelling because of information in your credit report within the preceding 60 days. The credit bureau must provide someone to help you interpret the information in your credit file. You are entitled to receive a free copy of your credit report if you are unemployed and intend to apply for employment in the next 60 days, if you are a recipient of public welfare assistance, or if you have reason to believe that there is inaccurate information in your credit report due to fraud.
You have a right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the Credit Repair Organization Act. This law prohibits deceptive practices by credit repair organizations. You have the right to cancel your contract with any credit repair organization for any reason within 3 business days from the date you signed it.
Credit bureaus are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure that the information they report is accurate. However, mistakes may occur. You may, on your own, notify a credit bureau in writing that you dispute the accuracy of information in your credit file. The credit bureau must then re-investigate and modify or remove inaccurate or incomplete information. The credit bureau may not charge any fee for this service. Any pertinent information and copies of all documents you have concerning an error should be given to the credit bureau.
If the credit bureau’s re-investigation does not resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may send a brief statement to the credit bureau, to be kept in your file, explaining why you think the record is inaccurate. The credit bureau must include a summary of your statement about disputed information with any report it issues about you.

Q.How is Takrow's Credit Repair different than its competitors?
A. We know that choosing to use our service is an extremely personal and private matter. We will work to explain what we believe we can do to help and determine a path to great credit! Though we cannot explain all the techniques we use to successfully work on your account, we will explain WHAT we feel we can do and if we feel our services will work for you. Our first priority is to help our customers achieve their goal of better credit. This is a partnership, so we always inform our clients of what they need to do to make the process work most effectively. Many companies that claim to “repair your credit” try to do so by outsourcing to other companies and even using ineffective software that attempts to do the work for them. We believe in hiring and training hard working employees that can thoroughly review your credit reports and dispute inaccurate information from them. Our technique provides a much higher success level as well as provides our customers with a more personalized experience. As part of our promise to deliver the highest level of customer service, Takrow’s customers receive a monthly update call, e-mail, or text message (depending on their preference). This ensures that our customers are aware of the progress we are making while also reminding them to bring in information that may be needed. This service is rare in the Credit Repair industry and we pride ourselves on being able to offer it.
Q. How does credit repair work?
A. Credit Repair is actually the process of removing inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false, and erroneous information from your credit report. Your credit report dictates your credit score. The 3 major credit bureaus collect information from lenders, creditors, and debt collectors and apply it to your credit report. Based on that information, your credit score is determined. This information could include the balances on loans or credit cards, credit inquiries, debt to income ratio, and most importantly, credit utilization (the percentage of debt you have to available credit)
Q.Can you remove anything from my credit report?
A. We can only fight to remove any items that fall under the guidelines of the FCRA (www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/031224fcra.pdf). These are items that should be removed due to being inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false and/or erroneous.
Q. Are there any startup fees?
We only charge a $100 setup fee 5-15 days after you sign up for our services, after that you will only be charged the monthly fee for services that have been performed and completed.
Q. Can I repair my own credit?
A. You have the ability to dispute any information on your credit report you deem as inaccurate, unfounded, or incorrect. Many of our customers have tried doing this themselves only to find out that the process takes too long, is confusing, and full of challenges they deem too stressful to deal with themselves. We take the burden of disputing off your hands and have the ability to speed up the process through experience as well as techniques that are unique to us. Think of our service like you would think of a Tax preparer, Legal Service, or even a plumber. You could probably do it yourself, but perhaps not with the same end results. We highly suggest that all of our clients and prospective clients take some time to learn about their credit, credit reports, as well as the process of repairing their own credit. You may feel doing it yourself is the better route for you and your situation. This is personal decision and we will never pressure you into using our services over doing it yourself.
Q. How long does it take to repair my credit?
A. While we try to remove inaccurate, unfounded, out of date, false, and erroneous information as quickly as possible, it is impossible to give an exact timeline as each case is different. The more items we are fighting to remove, the longer it might take. A general timeline is between 3-9 months, though sometimes it may take a bit longer or even shorter timeframe. Ask your sales representative about our priority service that can potentially reduce the repair time needed.
Q. Is my information secure?
Q. Can I sign-up online?
A. Yes, simply select “here”. You will be contacted within 24 business hours by a Takrow Representative to gather additional information, review your credit reports, and determine a plan of action. This is also a great time to ask any questions. We will collect payment information ONLY if you decide to start service after reviewing your credit report.
Q. When is a great time to start your service?
The time you start your service is determined by the goal you have in mind from repairing your credit. depending on your credit repair and your goal, it is a great idea to start from 3-9 month prior.
Q. will I be locked into a contract?
Though you will sign a customer contract, they do not have mandatory service terms depending on the package you select. We strictly provide a monthly service that you may cancel at anytime. Please remember, we only bill you once we have already worked on your service for any given month. Just like a water or utility provider, you are liable for your final months payment after cancelling our service.
